Library Rules & Regulation


The library hours are as follows.

MONDAY TO SUNDAY-08:00 A.M. TO 08:00 P.M.

  • The Circulation counter remains open only up to 10:30 am to 4:30 pm.

    (Except Sunday).

  • Library membership card is mandatory for library users.

  • All the library members should register their Name, designation, department and for students, class & Roll Number, at the time of entry into the library user’s register maintained at the entrance of the library.

  • Every student/Member must produce their Library Card at the entrance/counter.

  • Readers should observe strict silence, No talk or discussion is allowed inside the Library.

  • Use of Mobile phone is not permitted inside the Library premises.

  • Users are not allowed to carry eatables /drinks inside the Library premises.

  • Ragging of any kind, anywhere in the library premises is strictly prohibited.

  • Readers are not allowed to bring their bags, personal belongings, books or any printed material inside the Library. (Personal books are allowed in external reading rooms for students)

  • Personal belongings should to deposited at property counter for which a token will be provided. In case token is lost; the deposit article may be claimed with proper identification after producing a written request. Maximums Two books may be issued to the student and faculty at a time.

  • Books borrowed from Library should be returned by student within 7 days and by faculty members within 14 days from the date of issue.

  • Fine of Rs.30/-per day will be charged for overdue books.

  • Underlining, Highlighting, scribbling and tearing of page or any damage of books/Journals is strictly prohibited.

  • The loss of library cards should be reported immediately in writing along with a copy to the Librarian. To enable such members to continue the membership, duplicate library card(s) may be issued on payment of Rs.100/-(for each card).This payment has to be made at the cash counter of the college.

  • The books if lost must be replaced by a new one or the’ (latest edition) cost of the book towards purchase should be paid.

  • Reference books are available for reading during the college hours. These books will not be issued form the library.

  • Graffiti on desks and benches is a punishable offence.

  • No dues clearance certificate from the college will be only issued on submission of the library card & Books.

  • Internet and e-Journal are also available.

  • Photocopy facility is available.

  • The interns are permitted to use the library for reference only. Identity card is compulsory.

  • Suggestions if any for improving services are welcomed.

  • Please co-operate with administration to serve you better.
